Hey my lumières! I hope you guys had an excellent Christmas, for those who celebrated. Last week I came across a new brand at my local Dollar General, Broadway Colors. They range from lipsticks to blush all the way to BB creams. Their products have a price range of $2 to $5. WHICH IS CRAZY AFFORDABLE! On my last trip to DG I picked up this cream concealer and let me tell you that I instantly fell in love with it! Read on to know more about this concealer. Product: The concealer is called the Concealer Cream Camouflaging Concealer. It comes in four shades: Ivory, Light Beige, Light Nude, and Beige Glow. I am aware that it is only sold at Dollar General. It retails for $3, which is such a steal! Packaging: This concealer blew my mind the moment I got home and used it. At first sight, I believed it was a squeezy tube, almost like the Wet n Wild Come Correct Celebrity Concealer. Boy was I wrong! When taking off the cap, it reveals a wand! Yes, when you open it, a doe foot applicator is attached to the inside of the cap. Overall, the exterior packaging is a basic lip gloss style tube. The tube itself is clear, aside from the black print it has, which allows you to see the color. Application & Formula: The moment I swiped it on my face, I knew this was going to become my favorite concealer of all time. The consistency of this concealer is creamy and almost thick. The formula reminds me of the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer. The applicator makes it easy to apply to your face. It distributes an even amount of product and is very easy to blend out. It does not dry out or crease on application. I found that after about 5ish minutes, it dries down to a semi-matte finish but does not feel dry. Another plus is that it has no chemical or floral smell. Coverage & Durability: I typically blend out my concealers with a beauty sponge, but for the sake of this review, I also tried it with a brush. I found that both brush and sponge blend out this concealer amazingly! It has great full coverage! It covered my dark under eye circles and red blemishes which surprised me because not many concealers can achieve that. Once set, it looks flawless! I have noticed that after a 9 hour school day, it is intact. No creases and no fading. I have oily skin and normally by the end of the day I look like a grease ball. With my oily skin, concealers tend to fade or rub off, but this concealer remained intact and I had just a tiny bit of shine. See why this is my favorite... lol. Final Opinion: As you have seen, I am very happy about this concealer. It instantly became my holy grail concealer. It is unbelievable that it came from a discount store! It is super affordable and it is great quality! I have no complaints about this concealer. You can only grab it at Dollar General so hurry up and get your hands on it!
